thISTANBUL

I travelled through the sights, smells, people and culture of Turkey. . . without having to leave South Africa.

It was awesome.

said “merhaba” to some Turks.

ate some good food.

some interesting food.

learnt how to brew Turkish Tea.

enjoyed the tea.

was “musically” entertained.

All in all, it was a great festival (minus the unbearable heat and exceptionally long queues for food). . . learning about the Turkish was a delight, getting to know some of them was exciting and eating their food was the best part of the day.
